A huge thank you to our business partner, Great Harvest Bread, for donating anywhere from 40 to 60 loaves of bread per week to the Newton Food Pantry since the pandemic began in March of 2020. They have also agreed to donate their day-old breads to the Newton Community freedge. Cheryl Cellucci and her husband have owned Great Harvest Bread since 2000, baking everything from scratch each day and grinding the wheat for the Honey Whole Wheat. Great Harvest Bread is truly a family business, with all three of their children involved during school breaks, and many long-term employees. In order to donate bread to the Newton Food Pantry, customers buy loaves to aid their efforts to support the community, and Great Harvest Bread makes up the difference. Cheryl says, “We are very grateful to have the opportunity to share with those in need in the community.”

Thank you, Cheryl, for everything that Great Harvest Bread has done for the Newton Food Pantry!
