The Newton Food Pantry will be opened its usual Wednesday hours (1:30-5:30pm) on 12/26 and 1/2.

We are always delighted by community organizations that do targeted drives. Mr. Leone and Ms. Suma, teachers at Bigelow Middle School, recently stropped by the pantry to drop off donations from a successful collection by Bigelow students.

Service Day with Winsor School!

The Newton Food Pantry welcomed 7th graders from Winsor School at Monday’s Service Day. The girls toured the pantry, had a discussion on food insecurity, helped complete various projects, and then sorted/boxed all their donations. The girls were busy! Thanks to you all for your thoughtfulness and support for our community.

Newton Turkey Trot 2017 

What an amazing turnout for this year’s Newton Turkey Trot! The Newton Food Pantry collected more than 30 bags of groceries (over 300 donated food items) throughout the event. Officially the event raised $6,000 for the Newton Food Pantry. Thanks to all our wonderful volunteers who helped out during the race and cheered on runners.

Angier Elementary School Food Drive

Last week parents from the Angier Elementary School PTO visited the Newton Food Pantry to unload roughly 50 boxes of donations they collected from their recent Angier school community food drive. A tremendous effort by all and we are so grateful!

Cub Scout Pack 355 Newton Supports the Pantry
