Newton North Spanish students visit NFP.

During the winter vacation week, Newton North Spanish students visited the Food Pantry to deliver a collection of donated items. Students also spent time learning how the food pantry helps to alleviate hunger and support those in need within our community.

On a busy day just before Christmas, nothing lit up our pantry more than the generosity of Ameer who asked his guests to donate food for our pantry instead of bringing gifts for his birthday party. They did. Happy eighth birthday Ameer and thanks so much for your support!

NFP at Stop & Shop “Sneak Peak” Grand Opening

Last Thursday evening, members of the NFP attended the  Grand Opening “Sneak Peak” event at the new Stop & Shop store on Needham Street in Newton Highlands where they were presented with a $1,000 Stop & Shop grocery card donation to help fight hunger in our community.
