DONATIONS UPDATE: WE ARE UNABLE TO ACCEPT ANY IN-KIND DONATIONS AT THIS TIME. We are in need of paper grocery-sized double-bagged bags and fabric face masks (in sealed plastic bags). Drop off at 61 Ballard Street or 36 Metacomet Road only (not at City Hall). WE DO NOT NEED EGG CARTONS.

$2.4 BILLION: The Avoidable Health Costs of Hunger in Massachusetts

New research—the first of its kind for Massachusetts—shows hunger and food insecurity in our state increased health-related expenditures by an estimated $2.4 billion at least, in 2016 alone. Zervas Elementary School holds School-wide Collection for NFP

Enthusiastic Zervas fifth graders, with the guidance of their teachers, organized a school-wide collection of most needed items for the Newton Food Pantry. We are so thrilled by the efforts of these children on behalf of their fellow citizens.
